1928: the majestic Tennessee Theatre opened her doors and was hailed as “the South’s most beautiful theatre.”  Inspired by the luxurious interior and by Jean Wilson who played the Mighty Wurlitzer on opening day, this scent is an homage to the golden age. Transport yourself back to the Roaring 20s and into the velvet seats of the State Theatre of Tennessee!

Notes: rich amber, velvety musk, a spilled gin + tonic {may appear cloudy due to high content of Juniper Berry EO in gin+tonic accord}

Rich woody amber with a sparkling overlay from the G&T. Smells like old money and smart, luxurious finishes. Vintage but not stuffy.

Woody, warm, delicious

This perfume is a surprise! I expected it to be juniper forward due to the gin and tonic but it actually smells like warm cedar when it first hits my skin. Maybe from the combo of the musk and amber? Either way, it's beautifully woody. As it settles, the velvety musk really starts to emerge. I don't really get the gin note specifically but I do think it lends a cool note to what is otherwise a very warm/cozy scent.

Low throw and longevity. I have to reapply a few times for all day wear. This one stays close.

Thanks, Gemma! I hope you'll give this one another try after its had a bit of rest from the mail. Most of our testers found this one to have high longevity so I'm hoping it was a bit of mail shock, but I'm glad you foudn it delicious! Enjoy your reviewer discount!
